Radford Dale The Antidote Gamay 2019

Gamay, the much loved varietal of Beaujolais (France), is rare in SA and these grapes come from one of only a handful of vineyards in production totalling less than 10 hectares.  All of the fruit comes from a single 21 year old vineyard located in Stellenbosch.

The grapes were hand-picked at dawn to capture freshness and acidity while retaining elegance in the flavour expression.

The wine was matured for 12 months in older French oak barrels (3^rd and 4^th fill)

The tannins are soft yet have just enough grip to define a subtle, lingering finish.

An absolute one of a kind wine, totally individual.
