Named as such because this wine is the complete ‘Antithesis’ of the wealth of Robert Parker-styled wines. Vineyard-driven, not winemaker manipulated. Beautifully balanced and restrained. The wine was matured in older French oak barrels for about 18 months then assembled 2 months before bottling to allow the wine to settle. Naturally fermented, unfined, unfiltered, and from a single vineyard. A true representation of why many believe Syrah to be the varietal most well-suited to the Helderberg. A premium Syrah showcasing dark fruit complexity and a fantastically enticing nose.
