The grapes were hand-picked and hand-sorted to ensure absolute quality before pressing. Once the grapes were whole bunch pressed the juice was transferred to barrel. The wine was matured in French oak barrels. Very little new oak was used so that the elegance of the wine could be retained. After maturation the components were blended and bottled before aging for a few months prior to release. Radford Dale have produced an extraordinary wine which shows the finesse that good Chardonnay should, as well as aromatic attributes which make it true to its origin.
