This Walker Bay Chenin Blanc vineyard is situated close to the sea and is cooled by refreshing ocean breezes. As always, the fruit is harvested early and by hand. Wild fermentation was carried out in older French oak barrels for a period of 10 months and left to mature in the bottle for a further 3 months. Through profound understanding of this vineyard, winemaker Jacques De Klerk was able to create a wine that reflects its site through brightness, style, delicacy and clarity.
