A full-bodied red blend made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
Dark crimson in colour with an earthy brick red rim.
The grapes were sourced from vineyards at the foothills of Simonsberg Mountain in Stellenbosch.
All varietals were hand-harvested and vinified separately in stainless steel tanks.
After fermentation the wine was transferred to French oak barrels where it matured for 18 months before the final blending took place.
The palate is grippy and tight with plenty of spice and red fruit flavours.
Impressive entry, delicious and bold with mulberry dominating the palate followed by a hint of dried herbs
Rich and voluminous with ample supporting tannins.
Can cellar for up to 10 years.
