This Shiraz hails from the slightly cooler side of Stellenbosch from 17 year old vines.
The grapes were hand-picked from two exceptional vineyards on the estate. The Shiraz was aged in 50% New French and 50% American Oak barrels for 24 months.
Selected from the best of Saxenburg, this wine displays finesse and structure with a long finish and fine tannins.
