Saxenburg Private Collection Merlot 2010 Magnum

Now 13 years old, this vintage is drinking at its peak.

Once harvested, the fruit was fermented in open tank fermenters and kept on the skins for an additional two weeks post fermentation.

The wine was matured for 12 months in a combination of new, 2^nd and 3^rd fill French oak barrels.

A refined and elegantly structured Merlot with layers of rich, supple berry fruit flavours and hints of mocha complemented by fine tannins.

This wine is an ideal accompaniment to rich, full-flavoured meat dishes.

The winemakers at Saxenburg have paid unbridled care and attention in the aging and storing of this wine in idyllic conditions.
