A delicate and balanced wine made from an inspired blend of Syrah, Sangiovese, Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo grown in the cool vineyards of Napier and the hot, remote Klein Karoo.
This remote vineyard nestles into the foot of the Swartberg Mountains and produces fabulous fruit in very low yields, but exhibits excellent acidity and minerality.
9 months in aged French Oak has gently seasoned and softened the wine.
Aromas of dark berries are evident on the nose with gentle tannins on the palate.
