Tempranillo Neblerio 2011

100% Tempranillo… the quintessential Spanish varietal. Those who have enjoyed our Rioja’s and Navarra’s will enjoy exploring how the terroir has influenced this particular example. Much cooler nights at 1200m altitude means the wine, whilst still full bodied, is arguably more elegant and complex than the sun-drenched warmer examples. “Neblerio” is the local name given to the morning mists that provide the vines with welcome moisture in what is otherwise a very arid landscape. Great with red meats, but we strongly recommend you try it with a hard cheese of your liking.
