Villion Chardonnay 2016

Following it’s Veritas Double Gold award this wine shot to fame being featured in Cape Town’s local newspaper, Die Burger, however had not yet been released to market. Following a pre-launch at the end of 2017, we are now able to make it exclusively available to Frogitt and Vonkel clients.
Made exclusively from Elgin Chardonnay. A masterful mixture of wines matured in French and New Oak. The result is layers of character in a clean and mineral Chardonnay that shows why cooler climate Chardonnay is a promising star for South African wine. Ready to drink now, but will continue to reward proper aging for another four to five years. Medium-bodied and delightfully balanced. Each bottle individually numbered. Wax seal.
