Winshaw Vineyards Usana Red Blend 2016

All grapes were harvested from trellised vineyards directly from Klein Welmoed farm in Stellenbosch.
The grapes were hand-harvested and naturally fermented. The Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented separately whilst the Merlot and Cabernet Franc were pressed, blended and fermented together. The wine spent a total of 24 months in French oak (27% new oak, the remainder comprised of 2nd and 3rd fill barrels.)
A full-bodied wine with refined tannins and a rich ruby appearance.
The blend has a combination of red and black fruit on the palate with a dry grippy finish.
Drinking superbly at the moment but can age for another 10 to 15 years.
Only 4 barrels were produced of this vintage.
