Five generations of family ownership have realized access to several Barossa vineyard sites which, when skillfully blended, deliver the distinctive characters that make this wine so unique. Aromatically this wine is all about the Cabernet Sauvignon as it is defined and expressive. The Shiraz shines through on the palate which is rich and dense with a plummy juiciness. This medium to full-bodied wine portrays fine tannin extraction with balanced, integrated acidity. The Scribbler is an elegant, complex and bright wine that is designed to drink now but can also be cellared.
