Duncan Savage graduated as a top student from Elsenburg Agricultural College in 2002 then joined Cape Point Vineyards as a winemaker in 2004.  He is a firm believer in traditional wine production methods in the cellar, and focuses intensely on the vineyards as that is where the secret lies.  Duncan recently decided to go solo when he purchased his own cellar in CBD Salt River, Cape Town, producing his own label – SAVAGE Wines.  Duncan travels more than 70 000km a year selecting the perfect sites suitable for the SAVAGE brand.
