A truly boutique winery and vineyard in Napier. The story begins with the planting of a small block of Petit Verdot in the garden of an old colonial house overlooking the Klipdrift river in 1999. Plantings have increased since then with the addition of Sauvignon Blanc in tiny quantities, but overall production remains largely below that of a commercial operation. Expansion came in the form of first a white wine cellar in 2012, and then a red wine cellar in 2014 as part of the renovation of the original property’s old barn. Things are done by hand here, by friends and for the most part for friends.
