Vendôme is the name of the Le Roux family farm in Paarl, South Africa, where grapes destined for quality wines have been produced since 1692.

It is named after the area in France which was the original home of the Le Roux’s.

The first two Le Roux brothers, Jean and Gabriel, came to South Africa in 1688 as French Huguenots.

In the past we’ve commissioned a delicious Sauvignon/Chardonnay blend, however on this occasion their red blend “Classique” really took our eye.

Wines here are made in tiny amounts, by hand. A true Boutique producer.
