Sella & Mosca
Founded in 1899 by engineer Erminio Sella and lawyer Edgardo Mosca, Sella & Mosca began with an ambitious dream: to transform wild Sardinian land near Alghero into a wine estate. Over decades, rock-strewn soils were painstakingly reclaimed and planted with vines, creating one of Europe’s largest vineyard estates. Today, Mediterranean scrub, sea breezes and Sardinia’s distinctive soils shape wines of freshness, character and unmistakable island identity. Historic cellars, workers’ houses, a chapel and old estate buildings still tell the story of a community built around wine. Sella & Mosca remains a beautiful meeting point of history, nature, tradition and discovery.
