Varvaglione 1921
Founded in 1921 by Cosimo Varvaglione in the sun-drenched countryside of Puglia, Varvaglione 1921 is a story of family, perseverance and love for the land. From its beginnings in Pulsano to its home in Leporano near the Ionian Sea, generations have nurtured the region’s winemaking traditions. Today, the family celebrates native grapes such as Primitivo, Negroamaro and Susumaniello, blending time-honoured knowledge with modern craftsmanship. Their celebrated Papale wines take their name from historic vineyard land once owned by Pope Benedict XIII. Every bottle offers a little of southern Italy: warm sunshine, generous hospitality and the unmistakable soul of beautiful Salento.
