Description
After a hot harvest in 2014, the Onderkloof pickers brought, to their surprise, an extra 4 tons of harvested Cabernet Franc grapes. All of the tanks in the cellar were already filled to capacity and hence they were confronted with a serious bottleneck! Consequently, the Bottleneck Rosé was born. The Cabernet Franc grapes were kept on the skins for 6 hours resulting in a beautiful pink colour in the glass. Light to medium-bodied on the palate with intense fruit aromas of raspberry and candyfloss. A persistent and pleasant finish.
