Choose the path less travelled with this fresh approach to Syrah. In an age where Syrah is known for making big, polished and powerful wines, this is truly one of a kind with restrained fruit and interesting spice. Overlooking False Bay, two mature mountainside vineyards produce this Syrah. Spontaneous fermentation took place in stainless steel for several days. Half of the wine was matured in older French oak barrels for 5 months and the remaining matured in tank before blending and bottling. Aromas of rosemary, black pepper and lavendar come through on the nose. Elegnat and soft, yet intense and rewarding. Can chill slightly before drinking.
