Description
A delightful fusion of ripe summer fruit and delicate floral perfume, this wine is both succulent and crisp, showcasing a subtle fennel-like herbal nuance and a dry, textural palate. The fruit is sourced from premium vineyard sites across Marlborough’s Southern Valleys and the central Wairau Plains, ensuring depth and regional character.
Following harvest, the Sauvignon Blanc grapes are transported to the Omaka Valley winery, where they are gently pressed to extract a modest yield of high-quality juice. After cold settling and racking, fermentation is conducted primarily in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and vibrancy.
A portion of the juice undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in old oak barrels, adding complexity and layered texture to the final blend.
