From a single old vineyard in the Polkadraai hills of Stellenbosch, this wine is crafted with a philosophy of minimal intervention — allowing the environment, varietal character, and vintage to speak with clarity and authenticity. The exact age of the vines remains unknown, yet their depth and individuality are unmistakable.
Harvested by hand and meticulously sorted, only the purest, healthiest fruit is selected. A short period of skin maceration enhances texture and builds gentle palate weight before the juice is pressed and transferred to stainless steel for natural fermentation. The result is a wine that captures both freshness and complexity, preserving its integrity and vibrant energy.
A bright citrus core defines the aromatics, layered with notes of dried apricot, spring flowers, and passion fruit. The palate is refreshingly textured, supported by bracing acidity, excellent mineral balance, and precision. The finish is long, refined, and saline, lingering with purity and vibrancy.
