Description
This Syrah is rich in dark red fruit flavours due to the low-yielding vineyards with high fruit concentration. All of the grapes were hand-harvested at optimal ripeness and fermented on the skins in open tank fermenters. The wine was then transferred to French oak barrels where it matured for 18 months before bottling. Concentrated plum and wild bramble fruit aromas come through on the nose. The entry on the palate is opulent with savoury white pepper and hints of dark chocolate on the finish.
