Description
The grapes were hand-picked and carefully de-stemmed before it underwent cold maceration for maximum colour and flavour extraction. The wine was transferred to French oak barrels where it matured for 11 months. (1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th fill) The wine is dark ruby in the glass with a crimson edge. Subtle primary aromas of dried plum and red berry are evident on the nose, integrated with cinnamon spice and lovely savouriness. Judicious oak enriches the experience with secondary layers of leather. The palate is soft with a textured, prolonged finish. Bright and vibrant berry fruit lightens up the palate.
