Description
A delightful maritime Syrah with an enticing kiss of Mourvedre, Grenache and Viognier. There is impressive density of fruit on the entry with an exploding plethora of dark berry fruit aromas and white pepper on the nose. This Syrah is full and textured as a result of 11 months spent in Burgundian French oak barrels. (10% new oak) The palate is firm and velvety with layers of oak matured vanilla and caramel. A wonderfully complex blend of premium Syrah harvested from small sites in Elgin and Botrivier. 86% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, 3% Grenache, 1% Viognier
