Description
All of the grapes were harvested from the Winshaw farm located in Stellenbosch. The grapes were hand-harvested and naturally fermented in open top fermenters. Each varietal was fermented and aged separately. The wine spent a total of 12 months in French oak barrels. The palate displays typical hints of black and red fruits with a dry grippy finish. A full-bodied wine with refined tannins and a rich ruby appearance. Drinking superbly now but can age for another 15 years. Pairs beautifully with steak and roast beef.
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc
