Description
100% Gamay hand harvested from 70 year old vineyards just north of Beaujolais. The grapes were fermented for 18 days in stainless steel, after which it was transferred to smaller French oak barrels for 22 months of maturation. Beautiful deep ruby in colour with enticing aromas of red and black fruits with a hint of spice. The palate is slightly floral, characterised by fine and persistent tannins that seduce the senses. Can cellar for up to 10 years. Only 56 bottles avaialable.
