Description
If there’s one thing Lisha Nelson knows how to make exceptionally well, it’s Cabernet Franc. This beautiful wine is soft, rich, and full-bodied with a long lingering finish on the palate. The deep garnet colour draws you in whilst the aromas are complex with a slight earthiness.
The grapes were hand harvested at optimum phenolic ripeness and underwent strict bunch selection during picking. A second selection was done in the winery with sorting tables. After fermentation in stainless steel, the wine was racked from the lees and matured in 80% new and 20% second fill French oak barrels for 20 months. Ideal partner to roast lamb. Ideal to drink now, but will age for another 10 years.
