Description
A finely balanced, medium to full-bodied Chardonnay crafted from a harmonious blend of fruit sourced from three acclaimed South African regions: Stellenbosch, Elgin, and Paarl. Each terroir imparts its own distinctive character, adding complexity and depth to the final wine.
Hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed to capture only the finest free-run juice, this Chardonnay was matured on the lees for 9 months with regular bâtonnage, enhancing texture, complexity, and weight on the palate.
In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow hue. The nose is fragrant with delicate white flowers, vanilla, and subtle grilled hazelnut. A light tropical fruit entry gives way to layers of ripe stone fruit and a touch of stony minerality, leading to a creamy, persistent finish with impressive length.
A sophisticated and elegant expression of South African Chardonnay.
