Description
The Mariëtte MCC Brut Rosé is wonderfully complex with pale pink-golden hues and a constant stream of delicate bubbles and a lively mousse. Made traditionally using Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the grapes are harvested by hand then whole bunch pressed. The free run juice was allowed to settle overnight. Fermentation took place separately in stainless steel tanks for 15 days, whilst the second fermentation took place in bottle where the wine matured on the lees for 40 months. The Pinot Noir gives complexity and length to the wine while the Chardonnay adds fruit character and elegance. A well-balanced, elegant MCC with red fruit aromas on the nose and a crisp acidity.
57.2% Pinot Noir, 42,8% Chardonnay
