Description
Sourced from two exceptional vineyard sites in Stellenbosch and Elgin, this Pinot Noir reflects the distinctive character of both regions. The cool ripening conditions slowed the pace of maturation, allowing for beautiful colour development and excellent phenolic ripeness.
The grapes were harvested early in the morning to preserve freshness and vitality. Fermented using 100% whole berries, with gentle extraction techniques, the wine expresses purity and finesse, supported by fine, supple tannins.
Matured for nine months in older Burgundian barrels, the oak influence remains subtle, enhancing texture and structure without overshadowing the fruit. These renowned regions produce high-quality Pinot Noir grapes, contributing depth, presence and poise.
The wine reveals dark red fruit layered with subtle earthiness.
