Bodegas Cosme Palacio, founded in 1894 by Don Cosme Palacio y Bermejillo, sits in the historic town of Laguardia at the heart of Rioja Alavesa. From its earliest days, the estate has combined respect for tradition with a pioneering spirit, helping shape the modern identity of Rioja. Its vineyards lie beneath the Sierra de Cantabria, where high altitude, limestone-rich soils and cooling mountain influences give Tempranillo remarkable freshness, concentration and elegance. Cosme Palacio is also home to exceptional old vines, including rare plots with more than a century of history.
Today, the winery continues to craft expressive, terroir-driven wines that balance ripe fruit, refined oak and structure — capturing the timeless romance and character of one of Spain’s most celebrated wine regions.
