Description
This classic Tuscan grape has taken brilliantly to the hot, dry climate of the Klein Karoo. This remote vineyard nestles into the foot of the Swartberg Mountains and produces fabulous fruit in very low yields. The wine is produced at their boutique cellar in Napier. The classic elements of Sangiovese are all here; bright cherry and redcurrants, but in a light style. 18 Months in old French oak has given an additional layer of complexity, softening the bright tannins.
