Description
Harvested from a single vineyard on the ocean-facing slopes of the Helderberg Mountain in Stellenbosch, this Chenin Blanc reflects both site and meticulous craftsmanship. The grapes were handpicked and carefully hand-sorted to ensure only the finest fruit was selected. A small amount of skin contact was employed to enhance depth and intensity. Fermentation took place predominantly in Burgundian French oak barrels, adding texture and complexity, while a small portion of tank-fermented Chenin Blanc was blended into the final wine to preserve freshness and accentuate its mineral focus.
The wine displays the exuberant floral character of the varietal, underpinned by compelling mineral acidity.
Suitable for vegans.
Enjoy now or cellar for a further 3 to 5 years.
