The grapes were hand picked and carefully de stemmed before it underwent cold maceration for maximum colour and flavour extraction The wine was transferred to French oak barrels where it matured for 11 months 1st 2nd 3rd amp 4th fill After 11 months four barrels of the very best were carefully selected which were further matured for another 27 months in barrel The wine is dark ruby in the glass with a crimson edge Classic entry of welcoming red and black cherry fruit layered with sweet caramel and subtle hints of white pepper Light aromas of coconut enhance this completely balanced Shiraz The palate is soft with a textured prolonged finish A bright and well structured wine A complex and delightfully classic Shiraz with a youthful purple edge Can age for up to 15 years from vintage. 4 Stars – 2022 Platter Guide
