Rosendal Merlot 2021

A medium to full-bodied Merlot harvested from Stellenbosch Merlot blocks located on the slopes of the Bottelary Hills.

The grapes were picked early in the morning to retain freshness and fermented in open-top fermenters for 10 days.  The wine was transferred to older French oak barrels where it matured for 18 months.  (2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th fill)

Intense notes of crushed mulberry and rosemary exude from the glass.

Plush red fruits explode on the palate resulting in an elegantly complex, multi-layered wine

Can cellar for up to 6 years from vintage
