Description
A unique blend of Shiraz and Carmenere with aromas of red cherry tobacco and herbal undertones of thyme. The wine spent a total of 11 months in 1st, 2nd and 3rd fill French oak barrels. (33% new oak) The barrel maturation has given the wine a beautiful deep ruby red colour and an earthy, cigar box aftertaste. The tannins are grippy and elegant, making this blend a perfect food wine. 70% Shiraz, 30% Carmenere
